This FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page addresses the most common questions customers have on the Sandvik branded merchandise webshop service.

Yes. Please contact Prominate for further guidance, options and setup of a distributor in the webshop.

Sandvik HQ takes all freight costs for all orders from the global (European) web shop until August 31. Through Prominate, we have local presence which means that the local markets will take their own decisions about freight costs. The total freight costs for Sandvik will decrease with this agreement. As for distributors, they will be charged by UPS depending on shipping address and item total weight and volume.

All questions regarding damaged items should be handled directly with Prominate.

All questions regarding delivery, price and availability should be handled directly with Prominate.

The webshop will send you the link right away. If you don’t receive it within 10 minutes, it probably is in your SPAM-filter. If you are not able to see your spam-filter or if the mail ends up in quarantine until the next day, the reset link will be invalid. Contact Prominate for manual reset of password.

Our webshop is a BtoB webshop for Sandvik employees and approved distributors and operates under BtoB terms. However, you can also purchase merchandise for personal purposes by using your private credit/debit card. There’s no need to create an account for personal purchases. If you already have an account, please consider that you will not be able to purchase for private use by using that account.

To purchase for private purposes, simply begin by selecting the desired items, place them in your shopping cart, and when you’re ready, proceed to checkout. Please fill in all required information and then choose the ‘Credit Card’ payment method, agreeing to the terms of service. You can select whether to pay via your PayPal account or with your private credit/debit card. An order confirmation will be sent to your email address. Delivery costs and, when applicable, a handling fee are added to your order. Sandvik employees may decide to pool with other employees and share the shipment and handling fees. VAT is included when purchasing for personal use. 

Please note that orders that will be delivered to countries outside of the EU may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of the shipment is responsible for all such import fees. 

Yes, merchandise can be delivered worldwide. The warehouse is in Sweden.

You can see the shipment charge in the checkout window when you choose items to your cart, add your delivery address, and choose the shipping method.

Additional customs, duties as well as brokerage charges may apply when delivering outside the European Union, depending on the shipping destination. Please note that the recipient is responsible for such charges, and they are not added to your order in this webshop.

  • Standard delivery within EU 2-5 business days, rest of the world 5-10 business days.
  • Express delivery within EU 1-2 business days, rest of the world 3-5 business days.

  • Rest of the world approximately 15 business days

The application could be decided based on several considerations. One is in what context it will be handed over or used. If it is unclear that Sandvik is the sender, it might be good to use the full logotype as a lock up on the item.

A second consideration is what application enhances the design of the product in the best way. A full logotype as a lock up on a pen looks nicer than trying to apply the flexible use of the logotype with separated wordmark and symbol. On the other hand, a tote bag might give a more energetic impression with the flexible use of the logotype.

Not if the logotype becomes steel colored due to the engraving. We strive for a tone-in-tone, black on white or white on black impression.

Prominate is our global preferred supplier and can serve any Sandvik location from their central hub or from other Prominate offices around the world.

However, it is possible to use an alternative supplier provided you follow the Branded Merchandise Procedure. Suppliers must be evaluated as Supplier Code Compliant according to the Supplier Sustainability Evaluation Procedure. They must also, at all times, follow the brand guidelines.

Any branded merch supplier different from those belonging to the preferred supplier list shall be approved by the relevant BA/Division Brand Function or Marketing and Communication Function.
