EU organic logo
The European Union organic logo gives a coherent visual identity to organic products produced in the EU. This makes it easier for consumers to identify organic products and helps farmers to market them across the entire EU. The organic logo can only be used on products that have been certified as organic by an authorized control agency or body. This means that they have fulfilled strict conditions on how they must be produced, processed, transported, and stored. The logo can only be used on products when they contain at least 95% organic ingredients and additionally, respect further strict conditions for the remaining 5%. The same ingredient cannot be present in organic and non-organic form. Next to the EU organic logo, a code number of the control body must be displayed as well as the place where the agricultural raw materials composing the product have been farmed.

Fairtrade
Fairtrade is an independent organization. Their goal is to work for better wages and quality of life for farmers and workers in developing countries. Fairtrade works to ensure and improve minimal wages for workers and guaranteed fair payment for products. They also work for human rights from a CSR perspective. They contribute to long term agreements between suppliers and buyers to secure a good life for everyone.
FSC
FSC is an independent, international organization that works for economic and sustainable responsibility in the area of global forestry. FSC cares about and protects threatened species of animals, trees, soil quality, indigenous communities’ rights and good labor conditions for those working in the forests.
GOTS
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is an international symbol applied to clothes and textiles that comply with the highest social and environmental standards. GOTS monitors the entire production chain from plant to manufactured product. At least 70 percent of the fibers must be organic.
GRS
The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions. The GRS is intended to meet the needs of companies looking to verify the recycled content of their products (both finished and intermediate) and to verify responsible social, environmental and chemical practices in their production. The objectives of the GRS are to define requirements to ensure accurate content claims and good working conditions, and that harmful environmental and chemical impacts are minimized.
KRAV
KRAV-labeled food is organic, but also has additional high requirements for biodiversity, reduced climate impact, good animal welfare, and better working conditions for employees. By choosing KRAV-labeled products, you are helping to make the world a better place, both now and for future generations. KRAV-labeled food is grown without synthetic chemical pesticides and fertilizers, which contributes to increased biodiversity.
Nordic EcoLabel
The Nordic Swan Ecolabel works for sustainable solutions based on a life cycle assessment of a product. The overall goal is to reduce the environmental impact from production and consumption of goods. Nordic Swan Ecolabel requirements are very clear and very extensive.
It is an official, independent and 3rd party certification organization.
Oeko-Tex
Authorized, independent science- and testing institutes for textiles test fabrics to ensure that the product does not contain dangerous chemicals. Oeko-Tex® 1000 does not admit any kind of pigment or other substance dangerous for the environment in the production process. Certification requires energy efficiency in the whole manufacturing process and high standard working conditions.
Plastic Bank
Plastic Bank® empowers the world to stop ocean plastic while improving the lives of collector communities. V-Label
V-Label is an internationally recognized, registered seal for labelling vegan and vegetarian products and services established in Switzerland in 1996. It is a reliable, go-to shopping guide for consumers. The European Vegetarian Union (EVU) is supporting the V-Label.
If the product is branded Vegan, it means that no ingredients of animal origin have been used in any part of the production process, including additives and aromas.
If the product is branded Vegetarian, it means that only milk, eggs from cage-free farms, beeswax, propolis, wool grease, and products derived from these sources are allowed. Animal testing of any kind must not be carried out for final products or individual ingredients, excipients, or other substances used in processing if they are developed for the final product.
Last but not least, the proceeds from the license fees are mainly used to fund various non-governmental organizations and projects for animal welfare organizations.
